Who is Dr Marvin Olasky?
Ken is trained as an engineer, lawyer, and mediator. He has conciliated hundreds of family, business, church, and legal conflicts..His book The Peace Maker has sold over 500,000 copies in 17 different languages. His latest work "Relational Wisdom" is being used in churches, businesses, and seminaries around the world to build and heal relationships biblically (i.e. CCEF, Southern Seminary, Reformed Theological Seminary, Acts 29 Ministries, Focus on the Family, Home School Legal Defense Association, end many more.) Ken has been married for thirty-three years to his wife, Corlette, who has actively partnered in ministry. Her Young Peacemaker curriculum is so biblical and robust that it has been used to teach conflict resolution not only to children around the world but also to former drug dealers in prison. Ken has had the privilege of serving as an Editorial Adviser for Christianity Today’s Building Church Leaders, Managing Your Church, and Church Law and Tax panels.

Virgil also serves as the Executive Director of Operations for the fast-growing G3 Ministries whose purpose is to educate, encourage, and equip local churches with sound biblical theology for the glory of God. Virgil served as the Discipleship Pastor at Westside Church in Omaha, Nebraska. Virgil's education includes an MDiv at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Virgil has a passionate involvement in Jail Ministry, Pro-life ministry, and Street Evangelism. Virgil and his wife Tomeka have been married for 25 years and have three children.

Who is Tim Bryant?
Tim is the Executive Director of LCBCC and founded the Lowcountry Biblical Counseling Center in 2003. Before LCBCC, he served as a pastor for ten years. Tim's counseling and speaking ministry help many couples and families struggling with intense interpersonal conflict find peace through the wisdom of humility. Many individuals seeking to overcome personal problems such as depression, anxiety, anger, bitterness, addiction, eating disorders and guilt have found Tim's biblical passion and perspectives to be a means of grace and transformation. He holds his Master's in Biblical Counseling from the Master's University in Santa Clarita, California, certification by the Association of Biblical Counselors, and is a BC Fellow-in-training. Tim and his wife Erin, have four children, and one precious daughter-in-law, His compassion for others and focus on Christ's humility are often used by God to inspire change in those he helps.
Breakout PresentersPatty Brown Counselor & Training AdministratorPatty holds a Masters in Biblical Counseling from the Master's University and certification by the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors. Her gentle and compassionate insights are most helpful for women with troubling emotions and those needing a friend to walk alongside them during difficult trials. Patty facilitates many of our online courses and regularly teaches women's change groups at the center on topics like "Trusting God." In addition to her work at LCBCC, she finds great joy serving the women in her church and supporting her husband, Chris, in his ministry as a hospital chaplain at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Ron Allchin Lead Male Counselor at LCBCCFormer Executive Director of the Biblical Counseling Center in Chicago since 1989. He is ordained to the ministry of the local church and has held various positions in several churches. He has been used by God to counsel those with marriage and parenting issues and individuals with spiritual and emotional problems. He holds his Doctor of Ministries in Biblical Counseling from Westminster Seminary and is a Fellow and board member of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors. Ron and his wife Sherry enjoy traveling to various mission locations and teaching counseling in many foreign countries. They have three married adult children and seven grandchildren. Ron's gift of leadership combined with a heart of mercy, causes Ron's counseling and teaching to be of great help to those needing biblical clarity and a personal friend in overcoming problems in life. Sherry Allchin LCBCC Lead Female CounselorSherry has a Master's Degree in Biblical Counseling from Trinity Seminary, Newburg, IN, and certification through SCBC. She has been counseling since 1994. Sherry and her husband Ron have served in ministry together for over 40 years, with more than 20 years of experience in youth ministry and several years teaching at seminars together worldwide. They have three married children. Sherry enjoys reading and gardening but especially loves spoiling her seven wonderful grandchildren in all the ways a grandmother should! Dr. Pam Moore Director of LCBCC Guided-to-Completion Counselor Certification ProgramDr. Moore holds a master's degree in biblical counseling from Southeastern Theological Seminary and certification with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors. Pam is employed as a dissertation mentor at Capella University, where she earned her Ph.D. in Instructional Design for Online Learning. Her disciplined and structured approach has yielded great success in the students who are in the LCBCC Online School Program. She is a key-part of LCBCC's growing success in online education. Colleen Condrey LCBCC Team counselorColleen has completed her LCBCC certificate in biblical counseling and has been a team counselor at the center since 2011. She has been active in women's ministries and leading bible studies for many years. Married to her husband Jack for 42 years, they have two adult sons and a daughter-in-law, all residing in the Charleston, SC area. Colleen helped put her husband through dental school as a computer programmer, but soon after their first child was born, she was blessed to stay home as a full-time mom. When the boys were in high school, she began helping in her husband's family dental practice and eventually became office manager. Now she enjoys volunteering at Lowcountry Biblical Counseling Center, helping women and children find God's answers in God's Word through her gentle wisdom. T.L. Berry Director of Upstate Biblical Counseling Center.T.L. grew up in South Carolina and graduated from Clemson University. He has been involved in vocational ministry for over 15 years, most of which were in collegiate ministry. He was on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ at East Tennessee State University and Clemson University. He spent most of this time as a team leader who helped students grow in their faith while directing ministries on multiple campuses. During this time, he was burdened by students' needs, as well as adults, who needed sound counseling that was faithful to the Bible. This burden led him to complete a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies and a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling (both from Reformed Theological Seminary). He launched Upstate Biblical Counseling in August of 2020 to minister to the counseling needs of upstate students and adults while helping to equip churches to care for their people. T.L. lives in Clemson with his wife and three children and is a member of Crosspoint Church. |
